FBC's Second house of Worship

 Salem Baptist Church.  The second house of worship here in Middletown.  The Little Prairie Baptist Church turned in to the Salem Baptist Church, at the home of James Heaton and his father David.  Members of Salem Baptist Church decide to build a church building. This building, considered to be the original First Baptist Church building, cost $160 to build. It was located in the present-day vicinity of Enoch Drive and Tytus Avenue in Middletown.
