Founder's day Series - FBC over the last 216 years

Founder's Day Series - FBC over the last 216 years.

First Baptist Church Founder's day is always the first Sunday in August.  We celebrate the rich history that First Baptist has.   This year we will take a look back at the physical buildings that held our congregation. The first know building was a small log cabin called "The Little Prairie Baptist Church," is built on the banks of the Great Miami River. The river, regardless of the weather, was used as the congregation's baptismal font. The exact location is unknown. The Pastor of this church was Rev. Dan'l Clark. Daniel Dody, who was one of the first settlers here in Middletown, rides on horseback to Danville, Ky., where he persuades Rev. Clark to come Middletown. The rest they say is history.
